Duke Power is implementing PowerPair, a one-time, incentive-based pilot program for putting in house photo voltaic technology with BESS in its Carolinas and Progress service areas in North Carolina.
This system is designed to assist make house photo voltaic plus battery methods extra inexpensive for purchasers by providing as much as $9,000 in incentives. Whole incentive is predicated on the kind of photo voltaic array and battery put in.
“PowerPair offers Duke Power an added software to offer extra reliability to photo voltaic power which in flip advantages all clients as North Carolina grows in inhabitants,” says Lon Huber, Duke Power senior vice chairman, Pricing and Buyer Options. “And by taking part, clients are serving to to help the state’s clear power objectives.”
The corporate obtained approval from the North Carolinas Utility Fee for this system in January.
